Reconditioning

Reconditioning means to restore to a healthy condition, to renovate or repair.

All of our used pianos whether 5 or 95 years old are assessed by Don, along with Vince and Leona, as to their need of reconditioning.  Don and Annette Vaugeois, the owners, have been in the piano sales and service business for over 35 years.  They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.  Both Vince Strand and Leona Sharman are registered craftsmen technicians with the Canadian Association of Piano Technicians.  With over 45 years of experience between them they oversee each piano's progress.  Their level of expertise allows us to cover the full range of reconditioning and rebuilding, from minor repairs, such as sticking keys, to full sound board and pin block replacement, for all makes of pianos.  Part of our reconditioning service includes full key top replacement as well as our skilled ability to repair old ivory keys.

Recently, Andrew Bromley a graduate of Western Ontario College's certified piano technician's program has joined the group bringing a youthful and current dynamic to our organization.  As part of our technical team, Cliff Roth brings a great dimension to our field service specialties. His experience and knowledge will assist you in identifying your piano's specific needs.

The team assesses each piano to be rebuilt, if replacement components are deemed necessary, only quality products are used.  Detailed estimates are given for each piano.
